In this week’s episode, we chatted with Alex McGillivary who recently completed the Ride to Conquer Cancer, Toronto - Niagara cycling event. This EPIC 220km cycling event raises funds for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top 5 cancer research hospitals in the world, who are moving us closer to conquering cancer in our lifetime.
While Alex has been involved in athletics all her life with swimming, running and triathlon, Alex has never taken on such an audacious physical and mental challenge. In this episode, Alex takes us on her journey of why she decided to do this event, ride for Team Carly and the major lessons she learned about her self over 220 km.
